'Our Moment' a fragrance by One Direction...here are my thoughts about it.

'Our Moment' EDP 30ml $49.00 50ml $59.00 100ml $79.00 available from Myer from 26th August.

Ok ok settle down, put your undies back on One Direction have released a perfume....It was inevitable right?!
The campaign is an adorable black and white spoof of traditional fragrances and the bottle is so hideously cute it hurts. But I know you're all like 'Nella what does its smell like?' Here are the notes that the fragrance people told me are in 'Our Moment':

Top: Pink Grapefruit, Wild Berries & Red Currants
Mid: Jasmine Petals, Fresh Freesia & Frangipani
Dry: Creamy Musk, Sheer Woods & White Patchouli

So basically everything teenage girls love, if I was a 13 year old girl I would be spraying it on every 10 minutes and I would have thought it ruled my 13 year old girl world so hard. 'Our Moment' smells like teenage girls should without that sickly cheap lollie smell that some celebrity fragrances have. It is quite intensely fake floral but settles to a softer vanilla musk when it dries on the skin.

Would I wear 'Our Moment'......YES! Not everyday but during summer to the beach on a casual day it would be perfect nothing too intense. I am obsessed with the bottle though, pink tulle and a crown, its so cute, I hate it, I love it.

If you are a mother of a teenage girl who is begging for this perfume and you are scared your house is going to end up smelling so sickly sweet it gives everyone a headache, then fear not 'Our Moment' is subtle enough to not turn the whole house into smelling like a bath bomb.

If you love Diptyque Duelle, then you are not going to be into 'Our Moment' but if you like Marc Jacobs Daisy or Ellie Saab then I think you might have found your new favourite fragrance.

Bored of my review? Sorry here is a GIF of Harry and Zayn almost making out:

So anyway I was invited to the launch of 'Our Moment' and Michaela and I were VERY excited to pose with the life size 1D cut outs after 2 or 5 glasses of champagne....

Thank you to Sarah and Platnium MC Pr for inviting me to the launch.

Rimmel SCANDALEYES Eye Shadow Sticks Collection Review

Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Sticks $12.95each available from www.priceline.com

Wow Rimmel are killin' it in the high street makeup stakes at the moment with the new Kate Moss collections (Love the new nail polishes) and now the Scandaleyes Eye Shadow sticks. 'Go Rimmel, Go Rimmel'
The Rimmel shadow sticks are the first on the lower end of the market to 'impressa me much. Cream shadows in general high and low end can be hit and miss, with chunky formula's that crease like a mother. On first impressions the shadow sticks glide smoothly without dragging or pulling on my eyelids, blending is easy with fingers and a brush and creasing is kept to a minimum all day.

Lighter colours (Witness White and Bulletproof Beige) are great as inner corner highlights, I actually applied Whitness White as a cheekbone highlight blending well with fingers and it looked great!

Darker shades (Blackmail and Guilty Grey) are good, but do transfer so I would advise to use them as a base to create a depth to a smokey eye applying powder shadow on top to keep them in place.

Bronze (Bad Girl Bronze) is amazing with blue eyes used to line the waterline and upper lash line, and smudged in with fingers to give a subtle shimmering bronze smokey eye.

Brights (Blamed Blue, Paranoid Purple, Tempting Turquoise, Gossip Green) can be applied on there own all over the eye but I like to blend them out to have a pop of colour in a smokey-kohl lined eye by lining just the lower lash line with the bright shadow stick and blending slightly with a pencil brush.

Shadow sticks are great for travel or popping into your day makeup bag, instead of carrying around loose powder shadows and brushes. They are also a great if you are quite a minimal makeup wearer and are intimidated by the process of applying powder shadows and blending. If you are looking for an inexpensive cream shadow and would enjoy the convenience of the shadow stick I would totally recommend trying out the Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Sticks.

Beauté Gazette LOVES Lanolips Golden Ointment

Lanolips Golden Ointment $28.95 available from www.ry.com.au

Lanolin has always been a Japanese tourist specialty, when we had a Japanese exchange student stay with our family (Shout outs to Maiko!) she bought giant tubs of lanolin to take home, Mum and I were baffled. Since then I have learnt about the miricales of lanolin, Lanolips Golden Ointment 100% pure concerntrated and refined contains ultra pure medical grade lanolin. It also contains Manuka Honey and  Vitamin E which are total healing super heros too.
I've been sick with an annoying winter cold sneezing and blowing my sore red nose every 5 minutes which has been a real buzz kill. Lanolips Golden Ointment was gentle, soothing and cleared up the effected area in a day. Most other lip balms and moisturizes have been stinging and not giving any relief to the dry raw nose lip area.
Golden Ointment is my first Lanolips product and the cute packaging has also totally got me excited for more, then ViviannaDoesMakeup used the lemonade Lip Aid in her latest video....How quickly can you say 'Add to cart'!
