Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Sticks $12.95each available from www.priceline.com
Wow Rimmel are killin' it in the high street makeup stakes at the moment with the new Kate Moss collections (Love the new nail polishes) and now the Scandaleyes Eye Shadow sticks. 'Go Rimmel, Go Rimmel'
The Rimmel shadow sticks are the first on the lower end of the market to 'impressa me much. Cream shadows in general high and low end can be hit and miss, with chunky formula's that crease like a mother. On first impressions the shadow sticks glide smoothly without dragging or pulling on my eyelids, blending is easy with fingers and a brush and creasing is kept to a minimum all day.
Lighter colours (Witness White and Bulletproof Beige) are great as inner corner highlights, I actually applied Whitness White as a cheekbone highlight blending well with fingers and it looked great!
Darker shades (Blackmail and Guilty Grey) are good, but do transfer so I would advise to use them as a base to create a depth to a smokey eye applying powder shadow on top to keep them in place.
Bronze (Bad Girl Bronze) is amazing with blue eyes used to line the waterline and upper lash line, and smudged in with fingers to give a subtle shimmering bronze smokey eye.
Brights (Blamed Blue, Paranoid Purple, Tempting Turquoise, Gossip Green) can be applied on there own all over the eye but I like to blend them out to have a pop of colour in a smokey-kohl lined eye by lining just the lower lash line with the bright shadow stick and blending slightly with a pencil brush.
