How to print your Instagram memories with Picture Postie

Picture Postie prints are available from all Smart Phones, Instagram & Flikr accounts Pricing ranges from $0.39 - $5.99 per print. www.picturepostie.com.au

In the era of instant smart phones with photos only a touch screen swipe away the memories are often lost when a phone is left on a bus or accidentally dropped in the washing up sink.
Here is a big question when was the last time you had a roll of film developed? I've missed photographs in the physical form being a part of my life, the excitement of holding an image which conjures up beautiful memories of an event, time, place or friend.
Picture Postie is a brilliant service which via their app or website allows you to order prints of photos that are saved on your smart phone or from your Instagram or Flickr account. The prints range in sizes but for Instagram images I would advise the 10x10cm size and they can even print onto a canvas!
Picture Postie, selected random photos from my Instagram account to send to me, which came as a total surprise in the mail. A couple of the images printed were of me with my Grandmother who had sadly passed away 2 weeks prior, I burst into tears because the photos were so special. Because of my rapid uploading to Instagram I had forgotten the photos had even been taken. They are now framed and sit on the mantle alongside photos which were taken the traditional way not looking the slightest bit out of place.

Thank you Picture Postie for the beautiful prints, I cannot wait to order some more in the future.

OPI Celebrates THE MUPPETS with a second limted edition collection of nail lacquers.

OPI Celebrates The Muppets, Limited Edition Colours $19.95each, 4 Colour Mini-Pack $24.95, Full-Size Duo Pack $24.95 available from www.davidjones.com.au for all other retail stockists please call 1800 812 663

With the success and frenzy of the first OPI and Muppets collaboration, I was not surprised that a second collection is being released with the sequel ' The Muppets Most Wanted' this April. The first collection created a glitter polish craze with the popularity of 'Rainbow Connection' it was insanely  popular and still sells on eBay for hugely inflated prices, so what is the new 'Rainbow Connection'? Nail trends have moved on since the first collection was released and the multi-coloured glitter trend being been done in every way possible, 2014 is all about the multi dimensional chrome which is on every nail trend hot list right now.
The second Muppets collection gives 3 amazing duo shade chromes, 2 ladylike pastels and 3 glitter polishes, here are is a description of all the colours:
CHROMES:
Miss Piggy's Big Number - Midnight blue chrome
Kermit Me To Speak - Silver mauve duo chrome
Int'l Crime Caper - Opalescent pink based mother of pearl
GLITTERS:
Muppets World Tour - Silver and Pink small fine rounded glitter
Let's Do Anything We Want - Pink and Rose gold chunky glitter with White confetti
Gainging Mole-Mentum- Rose gold and pink chunky un-even glitter
PASTELS:
Chillin' like a Villan - Sheer apricot nude
I Love Applause - Sheer pink nude
I was most excited about 'Miss Piggy's Big Number' because of my obsession with navy blues, it didn't disappoint. It is the consistency of the chrome polish from the OPI x Gwen Stefani  collection only Navy Blue, within 2 coats it was opaque and it had the usual OPI dry time which is around 30mins. It is definitely an on trend nail colour for winter and the update to a flat navy I have been looking for.

Expect lots of #NOTD (nails of the day) posts on the @beautegazette instagram, so make sure you are following.

How amazing was Amy Adams in the first Muppets movie, I cannot wait to see Tina Fey do her thing in the sequel.

BTW I am constantly having a me party, it's the best way to be!

PEDESTRIAN BLOGSTER AWARDS! Beauté Gazette is an Instagram Finalist

If you didn't know already, I am a finalist in the PEDESTRIAN BLOGSTER AWARDS! In the 'INSTAGRAM' category, which is so exciting because I am totally obsessed with instagram.

Why am I kissin' a fish tank in the photo above? Well I am quite obviously re-enacting the famous Romeo and Juliet fish tank scene! Duh! Pedestrian gave the finalists the challenge to photograph a scene from our favourite movie..... Here is what I wrote about my love for Romeo and Juliet:
'I remember seeing Romeo + Juliet when I was 14 at the movies and I didn't understand a single thing they were yabbering about during the movie. 'Shakespear...boring!'  But what I did understand was that Leonardo Di Caprio is a total floppy haired hunk and from that day 'til now I have always wanted my own fish tank love scene. It is still the coolest movie I have ever seen and I can watch it on repeat at anytime day or night. 'Love me, Love me, say that you love me! Fool me, Fool me, go on and fool me!'

Today is the last day to vote, so please click HERE! and vote for me, all you have to do it click the 'LIKE' button. Thank you if you already have voted and thank you if you are going do it right now.

Make Up Store : Bon Bon Collection and Beaute Gazette's Christmas Picks!

It was a steamy Sydney night last Tuesday, as I walked from Surry Hills all the way to the Make Up Store in Paddington which takes about 20mins. Me and my Isabel Marant Betty sneakers almost passed out TWICE, lucky the Make Up Store put on a delicous spread. Make Up Store orginiated in Sweden and if you are like me and frequent Swedish and Norwegian fashion blogs - way too much - you would have seen some of the products in posts I'm sure. Basically we were in makeup heaven, free to play with makeup all night long whilst the lovely helpful makeup artists gave us all make over's explaining how to perfect new trends like bright winged liner. Cutie Adeline (above) tried the most incredible orange lips she has a great blog too - 'Through Beauty Eyes' check it out HERE!

The Bon Bon collection is made up of beautiful products, which are all extremely wearable all year round. The Australian Makeup Store Artistic Director Maria demonstrated how to acheieve the incredibly complex eye look in the posters for the Bon Bon Collection, but if you were only going to splurge on a couple of items from the collection her picks are the Chocolate Cheese Cake Eye Pencil $34.00 and the Loose Eye Dust in Chocolate Fondant $33.00.

My favorite products I got to test out were the amazing Tri-Brow Palette's $39.00 which blended can match every tone of brow ever needed - Perfect for ladies who like to switch up their hair colour frequently! Also on my shopping list is the Skin Serum $80.00 which is silicone based and fills in pores and creates a smooth base to apply makeup onto, my pores are welcoming in summer a little too excitidly and have been so annoying lately.

If you love Make Up Store products as much as I now do, keep reading Beauté Gazette because next week I will be giving away some gorgeous festive Make Up Store products in my Christmas Giveaway.
Holographic Nail Polish $26.00 in Greta & High Tech-lighter in Pandora $32.00

Beauté Gazette's Favorite Things

1. Night Jasmine
Walking home through Sydney's leafy green streets the night air is filled with Spring Jasmine, it is so strong and so sweet you cannot help but skip with a huge smile on your face

2. Korres Lip Butter in Plum $18.95 and Great Lash clear Mascara $10.40
My makeup at the moment is very simple with nothing crazy going on. Korres Lip Butter's are delicious and are super moisturizing the sheer plum tint is perfect aeroplane jelly port wine colour which I have been searching for in a lip product for ages. In summer I tint my eyebrows to avoid looking like I am in a Die Antwood cover band. All I need is a few brush strokes of Maybelline's Clear Mascara to shape and set my brows and I'm done.
Korres available from www.kitcosmetics.com.au
Maybelline available from Priceline stores

3. Demalogica Skin Hydrate Masque $61.50
After being in the sun and being hot and bothered I like to do a big cleanse using my clarisonic and then use this mask, as well as hydrating it balances the surface oils and any dry spots.
Dermalogica available from www.skinstore.com.au

4. Benah Kodi bad in pistachio $420.00
Aghhh I caved, this bag is the cutest. I love it as much as a girl can love a bag. It is going to come on so many adventures with me. When I have a small bag with just the bare essentials : 4 lip glosses, my wallet, coin purse, iphone with large gem encrusted case, gum, hairbrush, Mac fix plus powder and some sesame snaps. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN! I become a carefree and reckless.
Benah availabale from www.thebenah.com
Also check out Benah's excellent blog www.thebenah.blogspot.com.au

5. Bronte Beach
To be specific one rock which is under the pool, it has the perfect slant for lazy afternoon sun bathing and gossiping.

6. JT Coconut Water $3.50 and Dr Karg Tomato and Mozzarella Crisp Bread $7.95
The combination of these snacks is just the best thing ever! Go and get them from your local health foods store.

7. INSTAGRAM!!!! FREE!!!!!
I have an instagram stalking addiction, the other morning at brunch one of my friends asked how another friend was and I piped up with 'Well she just got back from an arty trip to Melbourne then she made a pavlova and bought some new lipsticks and has been getting coffee from the Alexandria Bourke St bakery when she is at work' everyone looked at me confused and the first friend said 'How do you know this? You guys aren't even that close?' to which I replied ' Oh no we're not at all, I just instagram stalk her all the time.' Sometimes I even feel people are more interesting on instagram than in real life. Sick Sad World.
