Rimmel SCANDALEYES Eye Shadow Sticks Collection Review

Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Sticks $12.95each available from www.priceline.com

Wow Rimmel are killin' it in the high street makeup stakes at the moment with the new Kate Moss collections (Love the new nail polishes) and now the Scandaleyes Eye Shadow sticks. 'Go Rimmel, Go Rimmel'
The Rimmel shadow sticks are the first on the lower end of the market to 'impressa me much. Cream shadows in general high and low end can be hit and miss, with chunky formula's that crease like a mother. On first impressions the shadow sticks glide smoothly without dragging or pulling on my eyelids, blending is easy with fingers and a brush and creasing is kept to a minimum all day.

Lighter colours (Witness White and Bulletproof Beige) are great as inner corner highlights, I actually applied Whitness White as a cheekbone highlight blending well with fingers and it looked great!

Darker shades (Blackmail and Guilty Grey) are good, but do transfer so I would advise to use them as a base to create a depth to a smokey eye applying powder shadow on top to keep them in place.

Bronze (Bad Girl Bronze) is amazing with blue eyes used to line the waterline and upper lash line, and smudged in with fingers to give a subtle shimmering bronze smokey eye.

Brights (Blamed Blue, Paranoid Purple, Tempting Turquoise, Gossip Green) can be applied on there own all over the eye but I like to blend them out to have a pop of colour in a smokey-kohl lined eye by lining just the lower lash line with the bright shadow stick and blending slightly with a pencil brush.

Shadow sticks are great for travel or popping into your day makeup bag, instead of carrying around loose powder shadows and brushes. They are also a great if you are quite a minimal makeup wearer and are intimidated by the process of applying powder shadows and blending. If you are looking for an inexpensive cream shadow and would enjoy the convenience of the shadow stick I would totally recommend trying out the Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Sticks.

Opening Ceremony X Adidas Collaboration

Last night I was lucky enough to trot along to the Opening Ceremony X Adidas collaboration launch held at the Adidas Originals Store, Pitt St Westfield. I got there early to make sure I had a good look at everything before it got too crowded, quickly I decided that I 100% needed the pink jelly sandals in my life. The campaign features Xiao Wen Ju and Camille Row wearing poppy bright pastel cream eye shadows it is adorably cool to say the least. In the campaign images the application of the bright cream shadow is taken right up to the crease of the models eyes and complimented with a very natural complexion. If you want to try this look in for real life try a coloured liquid eyeliner on your upper lash line with a slight wing or cat eye, stick to wearable complimentary tones of purples, greens and blues.

Opening Ceremony X Adidas Sandals $120.00 available exclusively at the Adidas Originals Pitt St Westfeild store.
